[mv] Problem with [sort] from version 3 to version 4

Hallo i'm a novice user of minivend.
I have a problem about sort.
First i tried minivend version 3.x, it works well, 
with default srcform.html and results.html
then i have installed  version 4, in the default srcform.html
there are no sort options, so i take the following line from results.html
in version 3 and i add in the same place in the  new results.html
[sort][value sort_field1] [value sort_field2] [value sort_field3][/sort]
and of course i have added lines to srcform.html.
The problem is that the generated page search.html show 
[sort][/sort]     
[sort][/sort]  
and of couse no kind of sort.
Please help me
