I solved the problem about updating the top frame. Found a javascript

<SCRIPT>
parent.frames[0].location = '[area frames/top]'
parent.frames[3].location = '[area frames/bottom]'
</SCRIPT>

If this script is put in basket.html it will update the top and 
bottom frame when the basket is updated.

Sorry for wasting bandwidth :(
