[mv] Upgrading frames page MV3.15 to MV4.04

Hey. I have a frames catalog that was working great under MV3.15, and I
want to upgrade it to use MV4.04 so I can stop running both servers on my
box (takes up just a bit more resources than I'd like...) Anyhoo, I tried
just plopping it over, and I get the index page in all my frames, and this
message in my error log:

The frames page I was using was built using the frames demo in V3 that has
that neat little PERL routine at the top that kills all refs to LEFTSIDE et
al from your pages. The 4.04 distribution had no frames demos (at least
none I could find) and the docs don't have anything about dealing with
frames. How have you guys solved the migration issues?
