Re: [mv] Solved - Search results trouble in small framed section in non-framed site

******    message to minivend-users from Pixelate Performance <service@pixelate.bc.ca>     ******

Hello all,
On the chance that someone else will come along with the same problem, the
solution appears to be in changing mv_search_page=myownpagename to
sp=myownpagename. So, in my case, the hyperlink is changed to:

<A HREF="[area
href=scan/arg=va=fld=Kitchen/se=Kitchen/sf=category/ml=3/sp=products1]"
target="products_frame">products1</a>

where products1 is the special results html page.

I see in the archives that another individual coded the
arg="whateverargument" into the [search-region] of the search page. That
works, but it doesn't allow for variable specs to be passed to the results
page, which is the primary purpose of the search links.

It was such a simple thing; I'm surprised that the more experienced and
talented of you didn't recognize it at first glance.

All my best,
Donna
