  I was getting this too in the same version of Minivend.

  It is a side effect of not being able to open a table in your
SQL database.  Check the following:

  - Connection parameters for your database.

  - Make sure that if you have deleted the SQL table in
    question, that you have also the deleted the .sql file
    in the products directory so that minivend can re-import
    the table.

  - If you have reinstalled MySQL, check that you have
    also REBUILT and reinstalled Msql-Mysql-Modules-*-tar.gz

  Here's snippet from my catalog.cfg to check against:

Database products products.asc  dbi:mysql:db_name:localhost:3306
Database products USER          mvuser
Database products PASS          mvpassword
Database products DELIMITER     TAB
