The way <<I'D>> go about this is to add a "applyDiscount" field to the user
database that your using (i'm assuming it's text for now).

Check the database with something akin to :

[if value applyDiscount eq "true"]
 apply the discount
[/if]

The exact syntax on the if statement is probably wrong, I can never keep it
straight:)
