[mv] Need help with loop-data and resolving scratch variable

I current have this code

[set name=chart interpolate=1][data session arg][/set]

[tag op="each" arg="scratch chart" interpolate=1]
[sort [scratch chart]:make]
<TR>
<TD> [loop-data [scratch chart] model]
</TD>
</TR>
[/tag]

This will loop thru the [scratch chart] database and the sort works - I
can't get the
data to print out. I've tried a lot of things double quotes and extra
brackets. I've tried
loop-field .... [loop-data "[scratch chart]" model] ....

I checked this code with hardcoded values for [scratch chart] and it works
ok.

Has anyone ever gotten this to work?
