[mv] Credit Card Issue

Can anyone help me with a dilema here?

- I have my own server
- I cannot do automatic credit card transactions/charges, since I need
to verify I have the items in stock first, fill the order and then
charge the Credit Card thru my virtual CC terminal.
- Minivend doesn't store the credit-card number, so currently I am
unable to get the number except from the customer over the phone...

I would prefer not to resort to having to get credit card info over the
phone each time, although it seems like the best alternative right
now...

Does anyone have any ideas/insight into how I might get around this
issue?
