I see that now, thanks. Some reference somewhere that you can use htpasswd
to generate passwords would be handy. In a production environment, having
all new catalogs showing up with exactly the same password wouldn't be
good. <G>


BTW, the documentation showing how to restart minivend (in the stdout when
you run makecat and in the general documentation) is incorrect, at least
for FreeBSD:

	su -c "/usr/local/minivend/bin/minivend -r" minivend

means to run as *class* /usr/local/... and log in as user minivend. What
it needs to be is:

	su minivend -c "/usr/local/minivend/bin/minivend -r"

so that the argument is passed to the login shell.
