It is automatic if you use makecat. Just run it again, like (I assume) you
did to install your existing demo catalog. When prompted for the catalog
name, just give it a unique name. For instance, if you installed the first
demo with the default name "simple", you could call this new one
"simple2". From that point forward, you will just accept the default
answers for the installer script questions for the most part. This is what
the script will do:
1. create a subdir in your public html docs dir, called simple2, and put
the splash page and a few graphics there;
2. create a link file in your cgi-bin dir called simple2
3. create a dir in your mvend/catalogs dir called simple2, and in this, it
will install all the usual catalog related stuff: MV pages, databases,
catalog.cfg, etc.
4. create an entry for your new simple2 catalog in minivend.cfg.
You would then point your browser to http://www.yourdomain.com/simple2 to
see the splash page, and follow the links from there to the catalog. Any
extra stuff you had to do to get the first catalog going (cgi permissions,
file ownership changes, suid, etc), you will probably have to repeat with
this one.
