[mv] migrating from 3.12 to 4.04...

One more problem with migrating:
I had
 <A HREF="[area scan
   sf=category
   ml=4
   tf=code
   st=sql
   se=9]"
   Fantasy
 </A>
records in my leftside
and when I pressed this reference a query like this was formed by Minivend (I explored this using
DBI_TRACE var):
----  select CODE from products where category = '9' ORDER by code ---
But with MV 4.04 and the same catalog I have got
--- select * from products ----
In manual I've  read nothing about new syntax of the SCAN tag. What it could be?
