[mv] V4.04: cannot start minivend with minimate
****** message to minivend-users from "Kayo Liles" <kayo@mediafuze.com> ******
Hello.
I installed Minivend 4.04 on a new virtual server (BSD/OS). The installation
went well, but I cannot start Minivend if I use:
Variable MINIMATE 1
It gives me the following error:
bash-2.01$ bin/minivend -t
Low traffic settings.
Calling MiniMate....
Out of memory!

Out of memory!
Callback called exit, <GLOBAL> chunk 1139.
END failed--cleanup aborted, <GLOBAL> chunk 1139.

Segmentation fault
If I don't load MiniMate, MiniVend starts fine. Does this really mean I
don't have enough memory, or something is not configured correctly? I've
been searching the mailing list archive, but I haven't found a solution yet.
I checked minimate.cfg, and the localized strings are all turned off (i.e.
"#include lib/MiniMate/locales/de_DE.cfg"). I would appreciate any
suggestions. I'm using Perl version 5.005_03 built for i386-bsdos.
Thank you.
Kayo
