Re: [mv] Shipping = $0.00 when first enter checkout?
****** message to minivend-users from "Ron Phipps" <takedown@cdsnet.net> ******
I did some digging into checkout.html and noticed there was the following
lines:
[if !value country]
Set country to: [value name=country set="US"]
Set save_country to: [value name=save_country set="US"]
Set mv_shipmode to: [value name=mv_shipmode set="upsg"]
It seems that it was hardcoded for the default. I changed the value to
"uspsg" for my purposes and things work correctly.
Should the set= be something other then a hardcoded string? Maybe I should
setup my own variable and then set mv_shipmode equal to that for the first
time a user hits the page.
Mike, was it intended to have another mechanism for the default shipping
mode?
Thanks!
-Ron
