[mv] how to gid rid of "" when field include spaces/special characters ??

We use a TAB Delimited text file as our DB source...
when an item includes spaces or special characters in it,
it will show up with " before and after the field ... I.E. :
Product : "Brother HL-1240 Laser Printer"
instead of plain : Product : Brother HL-1240 Laser Printer

How can we get rid of these ""'s ????
