[mv] session secure tag

Is there a problem with my usage of the [if session secure] tag
I am not aware of?  I've looked through the list archive and
can't find anyone else with the same problem.

As a test, I put the following code in my checkout page:

    [if session secure]
        Secure
    [else]
        Not secure
    [/else]
    [/if]

I get a "Not secure" response whether the page is secure or not.
