I haven't seen MV crash cause of this but it will go into an
infinite loop if it can't connect to an sql db. Check your
DB permissions. And try
Database core core.asc \
dbi:InterBase:database=E:/Pfad/DB.gdb;host=ass-server.ass-software.de
for your Database directive.
