i encounter the same problem when i use postgres.
MiniVend V4.04
Configuring catalog simple...
Using Postgres for databases, DSN=dbi:pg:test_minivend.

simple config error: Undefined subroutine &Vend::Table::DBI::create called at /home/mvend/mvend/minivend/lib/Vend/Table/Common.pm line 791, <IN> line 1.

I am attempting to get MV up and running on a slackware 7 box, with the latest apache, latest Perl distro and the most recent MySQL (all installed last night). I receive the following error:
 
Low traffic settings.
Calling MiniMate....
Minimate is loaded.

MiniVend server started in INET mode(s) (process id 17349)

- When i check for the pid it shows up fine but when i try to access the site i get this error (i have tried running it both with INET and UNIX):
We're sorry, the MiniVend server is unavailable...
We are out of service or may be experiencing high system demand, please try again soon. 
Any help would be appreciated.
