Back to the trouble...

In my case, I've tested with the simple demo (MV 4.04, FreeBSD).
This was my test:

(Same MV server, same server, same browser, same machine)

Test A:
- disable the cookie in my browser (NS)
- order some items
- visit the basket
- all ordered items are in still the basket
- log in as an user test
- visit the basket -> no items in the basket and a new session id is
there
- call the basket with the former session id via the URL bar
- getting all items back, but I'm not log in as an user test

(Some Linux user can confirm this, but I've gotten the confirmations
from the Debian users only!)

Next test Test B:
- adding the inout tag with mv_session_id=[data session id]
the same results like Test A

Next test Test C:
- disable the secure server (secure server = http://www.mydomain...)
the same results like Test A

Next test Test D:
(WIN98, Sambar Server V4.2, MV 3.14-5, no secure server, catalog.cfg per
default)
- have items :-))

Another notice:
(same environment as Test A, but not visiting the simple demo, visiting
the real existing Shops in my own machine only and not via the inet)
- order some items in Shop A
- visit the Shop B
- oder some items in Shop B
- go back to the Shop A
- losing items....Ooops..I was not carefull to watch the session id :-((

I know about the trouble of other people, who is "losing" the basket via
checkout (multi).

Hmmm...what can I do for you to make an another Test or to give you
special informations?

Maybe I'm telling nonsense, but it seems to me, MV can't regonize there
are some items in the basket and is not able to carry this items or to
transfer all this items into the new basket?
