[mv] default MV 4.04 "simple" email report format is mangled.

Hello,

  I'm working with a mostly default MV 4.04 "simple" store installation
and am experiecing some weird behavior-- Large portions of the address
are disappearing in the resulting email. However, MiniMate reports that
all the parts of the data do in fact exist. I'll illustrate this with
some examples of the code and the output to clarify this. 

First, here's the code in "etc/report":

Address: [value address1][if value address2]
                  [value address2][/if]
City, State, Zip: [value city], [value state]  [value zip]
         Country: [value country]

I didn't change anything there, that's all the default stuff. Now here
is how this was translated in 3 resulting emails:

<first email>
   Address: 161 S. Pioneer #77     Country: US
</first email>

<second email>
   Address: 17010 SW Weir Rd.try: US
</second email>

<third email>
   Address: 1830 Columbia Pike Unit #313lington, VA  22204
   Country: US
</third email>
---------------------------------

 I can't make any sense of this. Not only is text being truncated each
time, but each time it's a different amount!

I welcome and would appreciate any thoughts on what might cause this,
and any solutions or workarounds that people would know of.
