Try this structure instead. It works for me.
[query list=1 ml=999 sql="select code,title,price from products where
title = 'cream' "]
[list]
<TR>
<TD>[page [sql-code]][sql-code]</A></TD>
<TD>[sql-param title]</TD>
<TD>[sql-param price]</TD>
</TR>
[/list]
