Who would give an advise about how far I should go backwards in the
archives to pull out posts worth to be put into an ordered, subject
categorized cleaned-up format ?

All I could do the last two and a half years was keeping them. Now with so
many rewrites and the new development of Akopia, Inc.'s new product plus
their upcoming documentation, I am not so sure anymore which material
NOT to look at.

BTW, I read the
        http://www.akopia.com/tallyman/doc/install_requirements.html
pages and like them a lot. Just imagine we would have for the whole upcoming
package such nicely precise, well written docs. Would be wonderful.

Where would you start ? Scan through the whole 1999 archived digest ?
Necessary ? Just the 2000 archives ?
