Hi Andre,
maybe your problem is that you have old .db files, and minivend
started to use .gdbm files (for example, if you moved from FreeBSD
to Linux). In that case, simply removing .db and .gdbm files
would help.
If you just worry about editing your files, then keep in mind that
minivend automatically updates .db or .gdbm file when you edit
.txt file. For example, if you edited products.txt, then minivend will
automatically detect any changes and update .db or .gdbm file
accordingly.
Keeping .db or .gdbm files is usually good practice, because they
speed up access to the data alot.
