[mv] problems with install

Ok, heres my problem.

When I try to run " bin/makecat simple " (I am using postgres)
everything is fine until I try to make the database, and then the
postgres command " createdb test_minivend " does not work. I have tried
being the minivend user and even have done it as root. Yet it still runs
into this roadblock. When I do it as postgres, it just fails when it has
to write any files or anything.

Could anyone help me? I have to have the simple database up by tomorrow
so I can have something to show...
