Create a new database called catnames, with contents like:

code   catname
10       Supplies
20       Hardware
30       Software

and put the appropriate Database entry in your catalog.cfg and do a reconfig.  Then you can acccess the name for the category
number in search results and flypages with [data base=catnames field=catname key=[item-category]], assuming that the category
numbers are in the category field of your products file.
