yah, you should reinstall minivend as a seperate user, preferably the
same one that will own the catalogs and runs the postmaster or mysql...
I just reinstalled minivend as root too (but I still have the same
problem as before)...
you also need to make sure that the user you are telling the catalog to
run under exists and is the same user as the one who starts/owns
minivend (last I checked)
