[mv] Admin pages not working

I have recently installed interchange-4.5.3 and the sample catalogs are
working except I can minivend cannot find the admin pages. The error
comes from minivend and not the server therefore i know it is an
internal config issue. I used most of the default settings when
compiling. I am running RedHat Linux 6.1 kernal version is 2.2.12-20
with apache 1.3.12 any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
