[mv] Problem Solved! (was internal server error and premature end of script headers)
****** message to minivend-users from keith@daegon.com ******
Ok, I finally figured it out, so here's the solution for anyones future
reference;
The problem was that I was getting a "premature end of script headers"
error in the error log of apache/httpd but nothing in minivends error
logs; as well as the browser said "internal server error"
here's the solution:
I had not installed DBI or the Postgresql DBI modules, which you can
find the instructions for in the minivend FAQ: I had thought they were
installed, but the DBI module was not installed, because I had not set
the Postgres INCLUDE directory variable/path, so I did this command
(this is the latest version of red hat linux I am running too):
export POSGRES_INCLUDE=/usr/include/pgsql
NOTE: this is under the stock installation of Postgre on Red Hat! If you
installed it after getting Red Hat I have no idea what the include
directory is....
Once I had done this, the Postgre DBI module was properly installed when
I went through the make commands...
...and it finally worked properly!
YAyayayayyya!!!
ok, so it works and I can now use SQL databases with my catalogs...and I
can get paid because of it ;)
(if you have any other questions about this then email me)
thanx for your help everyone
Keith
