It was me that made the comment.  What I finally did that speed was download
the new alpaha version (4.04a).  I made copies of the catalogs I wanted to
keep then had the install replace everything including the
/etc/minivend.cfg.  After I added the line back in the /etc/minivend.cfg for
my catalogs there were blazing fast.  I don't know why but it's sure alot
quicker.

Wow I just noticed the new acopia/minivend site.  Has anybody tried the new
Interchange 4.53?  How is it?
