First, make sure that [item-field subcat] contains a valid key. Try having
that tag interpolated by itself to manually check that there is a key inside
the subcat database that matches it.
Also, make sure that subcat is properly defined. Try looking up a known key:
[data base="subcat" field="descriptions" key="known_value"]
.. If that fails, you know there is something wrong with your definination
of the subcat database, or that they key you think you're looking for isn't
in the database.
Also, make sure you close the [data] tag... I don't see the trailing ]
bracket above.. =)
