[mv] [OT Very much soo, and I am very sorry too for this]
****** message to minivend-users from "birgitt" <birgitt@cais.com> ******
I do apologize for this. But it's those things where I do loose my
orientation. I am starting to read things an apprentice sys admin
should read, like securityfocus.com So, I stumble into this story they point to.

How serious is this newsoutlet ?. After having worked for the press too long
and happily cutting down my TV exposure to almost nothing since ever I left
the press, I don't know if this was already in the main stream press or not.
Only question I have : Is the guy cured from his "addiction" ?
Anybody still thinks the net is harmless to your emotional state of mind ?
Mr. Young from RedHat once said in one of his interviews that
the web will be developed by teenage boys. I wonder if he has
given some deeper thoughts to that asides from making a "cool"
statement.
Very sad indeed. And women take as much share of the blame and
burden their cooperation imposes on our men. What an industry is that
where professionals are almost forced to be exposed and screwed
up by this shit ? How many e-commerce consultants can make a living without
accepting to "serve" their expertise to the "porn industry" ?
How much of this is to blame to the fact that possibly decent professionals
can't make enough money with open source code development because
the business model stinks from front to end ?
