[mv] MV Startup Script Will Not Start Up

I have always used:

su -c "/usr/local/minivend/bin/minivend -r" minivend

in rc.local and have never had a problem with starting Minivend on reboot.

Ever since MySQL was added to MV, the line above takes more time and 
will not work on reboot.  I have even tried different scripts using 
"until", but it still will not start.  After every reboot, I need to 
run it manually.  I know it's related to MySQL and the delay it 
causes because another MV server installed without MySQL starts up 
every time on the same server.
