I use:
- RBL.
- RSS. This stops a *lot* (see mail-abuse.org)
- aggressive domain-wide blocks on free email services that
don't defend their "From " line. I currently block only
hotbot.com and bigfoot.com, as most of the rest have taken
to pursuing spammers that use their From.
- blocking almost all email from China. I just reenabled
Korea and Taiwan a couple of months ago, they are much
improved or at least most of their open relays are in the RSS.
- Selected local blocks of persistent bad mass mailers
like m0.net, real.com, etc.
- filtering Majordomo mail lists for certain strings like
/\d+.*million.*addresses/ and such.
I don't use DUL as I have too many users directly from dialups. That would
help a bit more.
