If all your customer use Windows as an OS. It is possible, that all your
customer has MS Excel, MS Access or MS Office too. All your customer can
write any datas into the table. After that, all tables can exported as a
simple text file (TAB delimited without "). After that, your can remove
the carriage-return (you can see it as "^M" in your UNIX-OS) with

perl -npi.bak -e "s:\r::g" <file-you-edited>

(see README-win.txt)

or your customer use the program "dos2unix.exe".
