RE: [mv] Page not found?
****** message to minivend-users from "Reid Ivens" <reid@n-visionit.com> ******
Hi Everyone,
I just realized that it's not really a 404 I'm getting, it's the error:
"Catalog undefined: maple.cgi/index.html" (IE shows it as a 404, but
Netscape shows the error).
I've since resetup the catalog a few times to see if I messed anything up in
the makecat process, but everything seems to make sense as it is. I've
checked the archive for solutions to that problem, but I'm not sure any of
them apply to Interchange 4.5.5 (/etc/minivend.cfg vs
/usr/local/minivend.cfg problem, test_minivend mysql database doesn't exist,
etc.)
Does anyone have any new ideas for that problem. Here are some excerpts
from my config files if that's any help:
minivend.cfg
Catalog maple.cgi /home/sites/site29/catalog /maple.cgi /storefront
catalog.cfg
#Variable SERVER_NAME www.mapleonline.com
#Variable CGI_URL /maple.cgi
#Variable SECURE_SERVER http://www.mapleonline.com
#Variable ORDERS_TO orders@mapleonline.com
#Variable IMAGE_DIR /sample/images
#Variable DOCROOT /home/sites/site29/web
#Variable SAMPLEHTML /home/sites/site29/web/sample
#Variable SAMPLEURL http://www.mapleonline.com/sample
Thanks,
Reid Ivens

Hi,
It looks like you allmost have your cat up and running.
Though the error your get when trying to access any interchange-page
"catalog undefined" is usually the result of not having added the
specific catalog to what used to be (or maybe still is, hadn't had
the time to check it out) minivend.cfg.
You could take a look at the docs, at the section "Minivend configuration
files" => "Catalog" (again, this is how it used to be with MV, I'm sure
it's about the same now).
Good luck and regards,
-=Gideon
