Joe,
I had a similar problem and what I found was that if the HTML content of the page exceeded 64k, I had this truncation problem. In my situation, that equated to about 20 items in the basket because there was a lot of detail being generated in HTML. I posted this same type of question many months ago, not answer and
no comment. At that time I didn't know if it was my Roxen HTTP server
or MV, but since you're using MV and Apache, that eliminates the HTTP servers
as the problem. Is this a TCP packet limit that can't be fragmented
or is this MV choking? Barry Joe Kupferling wrote: Hi, Problem I have is that every page called up from the minivend server is truncated, or in other words, the files load (in my case) about 3/4 of the way. No server error messages appear in the web browser when loading the pages, the pages just load 3/4 of the way. I've looked at the catalog error log and the minivend server error log and both don't have any errors written to them. Because I don't have admin privileges on the server, I can't look at the web server logs, but I have contacted them about this issue. I'm wondering where I can direct my attention if some of you have run into this, or have an idea about this kind of problem. The one idea I come up with is that the server may be running out of resources. I've got MV 4.04a running on a DEC Alpha Box, running Digital UNIX 4.0DWeb server is Apache/1.2.5Perl version is 5.005_03 Thanks,Joe Kupferling -- Barry Treahy, Jr * Midwest Microwave * Vice President & CIO E-mail: Treahy@mmaz.com * Phone: 480/314-1320 * FAX: 480/661-7028
