I think, a barcode reader don't need any driver to use the barcode
driver. It is still a simple hardware like a keyboard. But if you need
any software to program or change any mode in your barcode reader, I
would take the barcode reader and go to the Windows machine and I would
set the barcode reader with this Windows machine. After that, I would
connect the barcode reader with the linux machine and that is all.
