[mv] SSL SessionID and cookies

Hi All,

I am having problems setting up a shared secure server.

url: http://www.clientssite.com/cgi-bin/shop
secure: https://secure.securehost.com/cgi-bin/shop

Whenever the domain name changes in the URL, a new session ID is
created.
I then have one sessionid for secure and one for http!

I have tried passing the sessionid in a hidden form var but makes no
difference.
<input type=hidden name=mv_session_id value="[data session id]">

Example:
http://www.macky.co.uk/cgi-bin/macky.co.uk

I have been through the mail list but not found a solution.
Using http works fine, cookies and basket are all OK.

Spec:
RH6.2/MV V4.04/perl5.005_03/Apache1.3
