Typically, the .txt file stops getting auto-updated when it reaches
a certain size. All you have to do is export it.
To use the SQL database for searches, just include st=db in the
scan (or mv_searchtype=db in a form).
I will look at adding a setting (to Interchange, at least) that allows
you to specify the default search type. There are a few ramifications
to this, but I think it is doable.
