I can not use symbolic links since the files have the same name; i.e.,
products.asc.

I guess I could rename the 'products' file in the other stores, but I am
using MV 3.14 and there seem to be so many hardwired dependencies on the
file called products.asc (even if it is not being used).

It would be nice if MV could follow the path link!

If MV 3.14 will not follow the extended path, then how do you link to
other product.asc files in other subdirectories?
