[ic] Problems updating products with POSTGRES

I don't know if this made it to the list last time

I may have missed this somewhere, but I have IC on PostgreSQL 6.5 and I
am having problems
creating items.  I made a new catalog based on barry and am able to edit

existing products, but I can't
seem to make new ones.  I went int psql after becoming the interchange
user and was able to manually
INSERT a new item into the products table, and it showed up in the IC
Admin section of my catalog.
Any ideas as to why this is happening?
