[mv] directory path in [area] tags

I've been having no luck encoding directories into area tags:
This doesn't work:
$basket=($values->{Intranet})?"Intranet.2fbasket":"basket";
nor this:
$basket=($values->{Intranet})?"Intranet/basket":"basket";
qq`<A HREF="[area form="mv_todo=return\nmv_order_profile=$Z->{ms_order_profile}\nmv_nextpage=$basket\nmv_cartname=$cartname" $Z->{ms_secure}]">Checkout ($cartname)</A><BR>`;
hmmm, I can probably do it in profile but it would be better in the link.
Can this work?
