[ic] Please help---need perl pro

This is the 3rd time I've requested help on this. When using
./configure I keep running into this problem during test.pl or make
test:

The install stops at this point. I've tried a LARGE number of fixes
without success. I'm assuming it's a perl problem (as far as I can tell
port 7786 is open), but am lost as to how to resolve it and would love to
try Interchange.

I have perl 4 in /usr/bin/ and perl 5 in /usr/local/bin/
