[mv] [MV4.04a] AOL , whats up with them ??

I have been working on a site for a customer for a month
now and suddenly they drop the bomb on me and tell me that
when they go to check out and then revert back to continue
they get empty shopping carts or your cookies expired or 
other errors.

I have read the mailing list archives and now have added:

IpQuad 0
IpHead  Yes
DomainTail No

to the minivend.cfg file
Restarted the server and they still complain.

I noticed in the logs that their IP address changes throughout their
session so I guess its that proxy thing.  

Can anyone here enlighten me on what they did to get around this
problem??.

I am using MV4.04a, BSDI 3.1, Perl 5.6.0, Apache 1.3.12 with Mod_ssl.
Nobody else seems to have problems except the actual customers who
I am making the damn website for.  I am sure its due to AOL and 
I need to get over this quickly.
