Hi Sonny,

Thanks for the quick reply -- I have the ENCRYPTOR set, and it works 
for all my other catalogs which are also using the current 4.5.7 
(I've triple checked, just to be sure!).

I put back the original ord/checkout and am getting the same 
results... it appears that I may have accidently deleted some 
"hidden" form variable whilst hacking my way through the originals 
(is there anything in ord/basket that could affect the CC routine?) - 
but after repeated diffs and much head scratching I am still at a 
loss. Thanks for verifying the route that the function takes -- I'll 
start at the beginning again.
