[mv] Problem with a simple search

Hello i have the following problem with my minivend search page:
i used this :
<form NAME="volltextsucheform" ACTION="[area search]" METHOD=POST
TARGET="middle_frame">
  <input type=hidden name=mv_session_id value="[data session id]">
  <input type=hidden name=mv_doit value="search">
  <input type=hidden name=mv_search_page value="pages/angebot/results">
  <input type=hidden name=mv_searchtype value="db">
Quick-Search</span><input type="text" name="mv_searchspec"
size="28"><br>
<INPUT TYPE="submit" VALUE="Search"><input type="reset">
</form>

and to display my results i used :
[search-list]
[item-code]<br>
[/search-list]

but all i get as search result is this :
[search-list]
[item-code]<br>
[/search-list]


so it looks like there is no interpretation of the minivend tags. Both
the search form and the results part are on the same page, and i defined
the special page results to this page in my catalog.cfg.
so what is wrong with this stuff.
