Re: [mv] catalog.cfg reconfig
****** message to minivend-users from "Korey G." <korey@awpg.com> ******
Thanks Kyle,
But Im pretty sure that its not a cache problem,
I thought of a little trick to make sure that when you reconfig you know that the return is
accurate,
I use the web server to send the reconfig command by placing "[reconfig]" in to an html
document that
minivend would have to read, after it reads this it returns a 1 for success, and there fore
when you lookup that file you would see a 1 in place of [reconfig].
but also I place other call in the same html document,
like:
__COMPANY__<br>
(which actually tells me that this information is not the same as the entry in the
catalog.cfg file,..)
but the time tag helps me understand that the server is sending me information as of now.
[tag time]%B %d, %Y %H:%M[/tag]<br>
I do appreciate your feedback though
also Ive noticed that if you hold the shift button while you click reload , and even
refresh, button
the browser know to go out to the internet for the information.
