There are some UI tags which help here. For instance, if you set
SafeUntrap to "rand ftmtime" in interchange.cfg, you can do:

[set allowed_days]7[/set]

[loop list="[list-glob content/*.rm]"]
[loop-sub testfile]
	my $fn = shift;
	return "Not existant?" unless -f $fn;
	return "OK" if -M $fn <= $Scratch->{allowed_days};
	return "File $fn is older than $Scratch->{allowed_days} days.\n";
