RE: [ic] Interchange 4.6.1 and MySQL 3.23

Can you confirm that you have the proper rights granted in the MySQL user table? Something like this:

| Host              | User      | Password         | Select_priv | Insert_priv | Update_priv | Delete_priv | Create_priv |
 Drop_priv | Reload_priv | Shutdown_priv | Process_priv | File_priv | Grant_priv | References_priv | Index_priv |
 Alter_priv |

| localhost         | dgc   | 470aee162402249e | Y           | Y           | Y           | Y           | Y           |
 Y         | N           | N             | N            | Y         | N          | N               | Y          | Y          |

Good luck,

Cameron

Subject: [ic] Interchange 4.6.1 and MySQL 3.23

I'm new to Interchange but I've found the install and configuration to be very reasonable.  I have encountered only one problem that I can't seem to get past.  When I create a new catalog and configure it to use MySQL, I'm receiving error while trying to create the database indexes.  The tables are all created but I receive the following error for every table:

table xxxxxxx index failed: Access denied for user: 'dgc@localhost' to database 'dgc'

I don't understand why I'm getting an access denied error for the index, but the tables are being created just fine.

Additional Information:

The site is hosted by an ISP and I only have access to a single MySQL database that is already created.  I've provided the appropriate login/password information to the makecat script and it IS creating the tables so I know the connection to the database is working.  Even with the index creation error I can access the Interchange store and perform just about every function.  The only thing I've been unable to do is update the inventory.  When I try I get this error 'Sorry, there was an error in processing this form action. Please report the error or try again later. (You have an error in your SQL syntax near '= NULL where sku = 'os28113' ' at line 1 )'.  I'm not sure if this is related to the index problem, but that is where I'm starting.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
