     Hello All,
	I've only been on this list for a couple of days now, but I
noticed that people are sending messages of the "It doesn't work, please
help me" category.

	Let me quote the info file for this mailing list:

It is common courtesy when posting to a forum such as this to:

    1. Include the version of software you are using, i.e.
    MiniVend 3.11. Bugs are fixed and deficiencies corrected
    in each release of MiniVend, as with almost any software.

    2. Include relevant information where appropriate.
    The operating system in question is often relevant, as
    is the Perl version and database type in use.

    3. When talking about tag problems, include a snippet of MiniVend
    tags which illustrates the problem. You should state whether new or
    old syntax is in force. (If you started at MiniVend 3.07
    or later, you are probably using new syntax.)

    4. When posting about PGP, Glimpse, or anything else that
    uses an external command, you need to state what happens
    when you run the same thing from the command line.

    5. Include error log entries or a statement that there
    are none.

If a post to this list doesn't include the relevant information, not 
only are you unlikely to get a reasonable answer, you will add to the
volume of the list and make it less likely that reasonable questions are
answered.

	I don't mean to pick on anyone, but providing this information
(especially error.log entries!) is sure to result in more helpful answers.
This is coming from someone who has had the misfortune of working in tech
support :).
