KEY directive
****** message to minivend-users from Derek Simkowiak <dereks@kd-dev.com> ******
From the documentation:
----------------------------------
KEY
You can change the keying default of "code" in the first column of the
database with the KEY directive.
Don't use this unless you know exactly what you are doing and are
prepared to alter all searches, imports, and exports accordingly. It is
best to just accept the default and make the first column the key for any
MiniVend database.
----------------------------------
I'm going to use an MySQL table for the products listing. Does
the first field have to have the name 'code' (that is, 'c', 'o', 'd', 'e')
or can it have a different name (such as "product_id") where the field
field is simply the Primary Key of the database?
Does the first field need to literally be "code", or just the
Primary Key?
Thanks,
Derek Simkowiak
